Aramco Korea Honored for Duty of Care Innovation at the 2024 Global Awards

Aramco Korea has been awarded the prestigious 2024 Global Duty of Care Award in the Innovation category, presented by the International SOS Foundation on October 31 in Sydney, Australia. This accolade acknowledges Aramco Korea’s commitment to advancing employee safety, crisis management, and operational resilience through innovative strategies, establishing it as a global leader in Duty of Care.

International SOS Foundation and the Duty of Care Awards

The International SOS Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to the safety and welfare of employees worldwide, has recognized outstanding companies since 2016 through its Duty of Care Awards. The awards celebrate organizations demonstrating exceptional commitment to employee protection, spanning six categories, including Crisis Agility & Response and ESG. A distinguished panel of global experts in Duty of Care selected this year’s winners, highlighting organizations that raise the bar in safeguarding employees internationally.

Aramco Korea’s Innovation in Crisis Management

Aramco Korea received "Well Commended" status in the Innovation category, marking its proactive approach to employee safety and business continuity. Accepting the award on behalf of the company, Seong-hoon Kim, Crisis Management & Business Continuity Coordinator, highlighted Aramco Korea’s commitment to resilient crisis management. The company’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) system, established in December 2021, includes a comprehensive pandemic response plan, expanded office insurance, regular BCM drills, and ISO 22301 certification.
